Last week, the new chairman of the Dutch trade association for technology (FME) Theo Henrar visited the Tummers Group. Our management then provided a tour that really amazed our guest: \u201cWhat a magnificent manufacturing company!\u201d, was his first response.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n \t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\n\n

The new chairman\u2019s visit to our company was part of his introductory tour amongst the members of trade association FME. This organization is committed to strengthening the position of the Dutch technology industries. <\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Among other things, our management told our visitor about our history: founder Fons Tummers started out in 1976 as a machine building company and a local maintenance partner, after which his son Erwin held various positions within the company. When he took over the organization in 2016, he became CEO of the Tummers Group, which today operates internationally with three different companies. \u201cAmazing how they continuously work hard to take their company to the next level\u201d, the FME chairman states.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\n\n

In addition, the chairman and our management discussed various challenges such as an appropriate rewarding system, staff shortage in the technology sector and the scarcity of resources in the world market. During his tour, Henrar also viewed our new workshop. He reacted impressed to the sound-absorbing walls and ceilings, the sustainable climate control system and our plan for a rainwater reservoir and five hundred solar panels on the roof: \u201cThis small and medium enterprise showed an amazing piece of innovation!\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\n\n

Not only our product range, but also our business operations strongly focus on innovation. For example, multiple parking lots are already equipped with electric charging stations and we seperate our waste flows as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
