From June 9 to June 11, Tummers Food Processing Solutions is participating for the first time in the CFIA Expo in France. On this expo, Sales Managers Barry Moeleker and Ronald Dekker will be happy to show visitors what Tummers can do for the French potato and vegetable processing industry. They will be ready in hall 3 at stand B19 to answer everyone’s questions.
Tummers’ first exhibition in France
Simularities
Just like the Netherlands, France is an important player in the European world of potatoes. In the season of 2016-2017 for example, the country processed 2 million tons of raw potato; 1 million tons into processed product and another 1 million tons into potato starch. Since Tummers has specialized itself in machines and complete processing lines for the manufacturing of fresh produce, the company is convinced it can also contribute to the food sector in France.
“New contacts”
With this participation, Tummers wants to gain more fame in France. Previously the Dutch machine building company did not actively show herself here, but according to Sales Manager Barry Moeleker, that is now about to change. “The CFIA finds itself in the heart of the French potato and vegetable processing industry”, he explains. “This is where all the major companies come together, so our presence here allows us to make many new contacts and make ourselves known in France more.”
CFA Expo
In 2021, CFIA takes place for the 24th time in Rennes, France. The expo is a gathering place for companies from the fruit and vegetable sector and this year, 1,600 companies will exhibit themselves.
The event will be divided into three different disciplines, which are “Ingredients and Processed Food”, “Equipment and Processes” and “Packaging and Conditioning”. For more info, please visit:
